  • This is no joke. I am a MP and today, when investigating an unrelated crime, I happened to stumble across a methlab, although it was in a duplex and the smell was more than apparent to me, the neighbors had not noticed it. When the individual who owned the residence where the meth lab was, opened their front door, the odor was intoxicatingly noticeable. I entered the quarters for approximately 20 minutes to assess the quarters for the safety of the children before realizing its contents. I then left the quarters, had difficulty breathing, was dizzy and naseuas for approximately 2 hours. Treated by EMS. This is a smell I cant explain and will never forget.
