Meth users are single-minded, barely conscious of their own thoughts, much less the desires and wishes of others. This poem captures that tragedy quite well.

If counties ,and courts don't wake up to this horrible addiction, and get them the help they need to beat this, who will carry the blame in the end? I have seen way to much of nothing being done to help them. Jails are over flowing, prisons are bursting at the seams, and all because no one will step out, and put them in a rehab, and get them cleaned up, able to think, and realize there is more to life than drugs....I have never done drugs in my life, but it is all around me, I live in a county that does not have a drug court. I am shocked everyday at the number of people weakened by this mess.

My son is a recovering addict. He spent 7 months in Teen Challenge where he realized Jesus Christ was his strength. One judge ordered him in there, and another judge ordered him out, and back into county jail. Everyone was shocked at the last judge's decision because my son was a wonderful student, doing everything right by the book, but the only thing I know to tell him, is maybe God is testing you, maybe there is someone in there that desperately needs to hear God's word. I told him to read The Book Of Daniel, especially Chap. 3....Judges will be judged one day.......
