yea i have heard that once a house has been used for cooking meth, you can never get the smell out and the painting over the coloring has no effect as the chemicals just bleed through the paint. only option is to tear down and Rebuild that house. Sorry man i know that really Stinks.

There is also another method that uses one spray bottle. 1/2 cup Ammonia and 1/2 Cup Gun Bluer, and a Certain brand of Chimney Sweep Log (The logs you use to remove the buildup by burning them in a chimney) you take the 1/2 Cup of Ammonia and the 1/2 Cup of Gun-bluer and mix them in spray bottle and Shake and Spray the Chimney Log witch grows crystals on it and the crystals are the meth. (PS: this Only works with one type of Chimney Sweeping Log (No i will not tell you witch one it is, as no one needs to make it). so yea.

I know, right? I don't know how many of these comments are trolling but there are a distressing number of people asking if they should call the cops because someone has some incredibly common chemicals and items. My favorite was the pharmacy tech asking if the customer who keeps buying 91% isopropyl alcohol is using it to make speed.

Think it through before you call the police on your neighbors because they have a cat and a cold guys, please.

Look up the chemicals used in making that stuff. Their minds are fried from using it and then some go on to making it to supply themselves and make money selling it. Meth houses are moving into nice, quiet neighborhoods and destroying them. I know that from personal experience and reporting to the local and county police has proven to be of no use even though they have said people going there are well known to them. They even told one neighbor to set up their own surveillance on them...what are the police for then? It has become a joke. We all figure if we keep calling the police they will eventually get fed up and have to do something about it, right? Seems garbage who rents a home like that has more rights than the people who have worked hard to afford and take care of their own homes. When you can't even go out in your own yard without having people who sit in a carport all day long, yelling at you or making loud aggressive noise or actions to try and scare you, it is a sad situation. They are drugged out but know enough to know what they can be arrested for and what is just considered a neighborhood dispute where at most, the police come around way after the fact and basically say don't do that, then they go away and it gets ten times worse. Add to that, those built in thieves can see when you leave your house because there is someone sitting in that carport pretty much 24/7.

The shame of that is some people see it as easy money, especially if its Section 8, who are supposed to go do regular house checks but there is a drug house across from me and no one has ever gone check on it. And it is true, people who want to live like decent people have to suffer and worry about crazed out meth heads breaking in their homes, not only to steal but maybe killing them in a drug-fueled paranoid craze.

aside from some of the ingredients listed here thats basicly any hobby chemist's layout. make sure you know how to REALLY
know how to identify before ruining some youtube chemists or essential oil distiller's day by reporting him as a meth dealer.

No. Just no. I always know when someone has not even gone to law school because they use terms like "by law," "against the law," or "break the law." People with any legal knowledge do not talk this way.

Assuming arguendo that this poster is discussing the sale or title transfer of real property in the US, then they should know that this is an area covered by the states and therefore is different.

For instance:

There is no universal "law" requiring that someone use a specific service to clean up real property contaminated by meth. Maybe in some states there is--but it cannot be said that all states require such--because they don't.

Nor is there a universal law that prohibits someone from transferring title on a property where meth might have been manufactured. Whether a warranty of habitability is offered under common law also varies from state to state--also a "disclosure" is not a universal requirement. In fact not all real property transactions even require a writing.

Different states treat all of these issues differently. Most of these items are codified in state statutes, other--like transfer of real property--will blend common law with statute.

If you have a real property question, it is best to contact a local attorney. Most run less than $300 an hour--which is a real bargain considering the horrible legs advice people seem to believe on the Internet.

I have a new neighbor and i've smelled meth and crack coming out of my walls. Today they burned or cooked something that made my upper lungs feel like they were burning. I have c.o.p.d. can it make me feel like my lungs are burning?

Will the smell still be something that will harm your lungs? I live in gov. apt. smell of drugs comes thru my heat and air vents. Last week a white substance came out of the vents and as all over my desk. My little dog
was sick almost died he broke out in hives vet said looked to be a poison. He stays inside I go watch him when he goes out. Don't know what this could be unless it is a meth thing. both apts. are in the same bldg.

It's time to legalize it's use for recreational purposes and put its production mostly in the hands of Pfizer, Merk, Glaxo-Smith-Kline etc. The people who work for those companies know how to handle the chemicals and chemical reactions safely. They also know how to dispose of waste safely and in an ecologically sound manner. In fact, it's time to legalize all drugs, regulate their manufacture and production and treat addiction like the health issue it is.

I have moved into an apt, this place I always have sinus issues, and it constantly drains into my lungs or chest.... its been getting worse, i been here about 7 months, now. notice that in the bathroom the yellow nicotine or whatever runs off the walls from the steam... I dont smoke. also notice it often smells like burnt rubber, cat piss, or paint, bleach once in awhile too. have one guy who is always up and has his windows open all winter long at night and ac going. have neighbors on both sides of me that creep all early morning hours too, and the smells come from the bathroom exhaust into our place and through the kitchen cabinets from the holes in our sink plumbing. when we moved in they changed the carpet , the linoleum, it smelled like adhesives.. then i complained and found later the ac unit had human piss , yellow poured all on it inside.. and took it out on the lawn and cleaned it off with evap coil cleaner and rinsed it. I could breathe better after that, then it started with when im asleep some chemicals burned my throat and i been waking up coughing 5 am , and dont know what it is, but i also have two other neighbors on oxygen in the same bldg. wondering if this place has an asbestos insulation issue blowing back through the exhaust in bathrooms, or we got meth labs in our bldg.... i need to get out of here, when i do leave i can breathe better.

If you read about the history of the so called meth epidemic, you will learn that meth use became widespread thanks to the government crack down on cocain,which of course drove the price of that stimulant drug up, therby making coke unafordable to many.Absent government medling into peoples personal life style choices,''at the bequest of big buisness,'' there likely would be no meth epidemic.
