it seems to me that you are tha one that doesnt really kno anything about people that "make meth". there are THOUSANDS of ways to create the drug (and many other related drugs in the process i.e. mdma mda amphetemine etc.) people can use simple household items like lysol gasoline and batteries for one way and the biggest "explosion" that would come out of it is a small smoke bomb. Unless there is something new I don't know about, Clorox (Bleach) is not used to make meth. They might be the worlds cleanest people (hypochondriacs) or have taken up selling bleach on a large scale. (haha ok I'm sorry - I thought it was a little funny :)

I arrived at your web site by googling for the "one pot" method of making meth. I am doing this so that I understand from a LE point of view, what this method entails. It is crucial that we protect our brothers and sisters, as well as ourselves. If we don't know what we are looking for then we could end up in serious do do. This research is being done on my own time and to increase my knowledge only. I would NEVER mess around with these chemicals even if it wasn't illegal.

I enjoyed reading your input on meth and the dangers surrounding the use and manufacturing of this drug. I am a recovering addict and convicted felon for manufacturing the drug. There should be more people like yourself posting sites like this to help emphasize the side effects, consequences and dangers associated to use as a source to help parents be a parent and steer their children away from drugs and potential distributors. I was recently released from Missouri Dept. Of Corrections after serving five straight years and out of curiosity typed in how to make meth and some other keywords only to see if the government or webmaster has stopped and/or removed that trash from being viewed...of course they haven't. Right on for you taking a stand and voicing your opinion. I also have two children(one deceased at only 27 days old) and I refuse to let any child take the same path I chose.

For what it's worth, I'm here searching for "how to make meth" because my community has been having a resurgence of the problem. In addition, I am an attorney at a criminal defense firm. Between the two, it is somewhat important to know how the process is achieved so I can both be vigilant in my daily life and provide competent defense in my professional life. In some instances, it has descended into a witch hunt - anything chemical in your possession results in a meth bust, and I don't know any better.

Anyway, it's not all idiots who are trying to cook up some meth. Educated people need to know what they are dealing with. Quips on how to make meth from the police won't clarify the picture.

I graduated from the #2 public university in the US a year and a half ago, am a hell of a lot smarter than anyone I've ever met in my life, and still haven't been able to find a decent job. Education doens't get you a job, knowing somebody that knows somebody that's hiring is how you get a job. hmmm, eerily similiar (or exactly the same) as the drug game...

Have you watched "the Doctors'? They had a show about drug abuse and that you could actually look up how to make meth on the internet and find it. They said there are over 125,000 "how to" sites. But I don't think there are. There are sites out there and "former" youtube videos. But amazingly enough, as I quaried this, most of the how to's are given by police or news agencies. Extremely large amount of information by reporters and law enforcement. Some of theses are shocking. I actually watched a youtube of meth being manufactured by law enforcement for a reporter. But if How to make meth is in your title, youmite get a surch or 2 from curious people like myself.

i was looking because the cops just busted a meth lab not far from where i live, and i dont know how they were getting away with it...aparently had been doing it for some time. and this is the country...so some of the people out here arent the sharpest knives in the drawer, but u'd think they would notice that the father and son next door were selling drugs!!???!!!! ....right? im relatively unknowledgable, and with this being the 3rd such bust in such close proximity to me, i figured if i learned how they make it, and symptoms...other than wide eyes and no appetite...oh...and always movin around...that if there is some tell tale sign, then i could spot it...call the cops..AND GET THE TIPS REWARD!!! this is a recession, and people r getting creative!!! as am i!!! Ya know, this is really sad. Everyone has an opinion and they all stink. Up untill about 1992, I did cook meth. I don't anymore, and don't ask me how. I learned on my own by dwelving into chemistry books. dimethylbenzeneethanamine is the scientific name which was originally cooked in a single "pot"(pressure cooker), but that was old school. The availability of the chemicals are severely restricted, that's why nowadays it requires pills, batteries, etc,etc. The resriction on chemicals only made people find alternate ways of producing the drug, which introduced a more sinister list of toxic chemicals that do more to destroy a person's health than the old school method. I came out from my venture unscathed, but a lot of my good friends ended up serving time in the pen for their ventures and honestly it is not worth it. That's why I stopped. And that is why you should'nt start. But the saddest part of this is the fact that there are people out there that will judge another person for their choices in life that they will condemn and even mis-inform someone so that they do get hurt. Tell me which is worse? The anarchist's cookbook went through a number of revisions, one of which was by a law officer who decided that they would change the book and basically turn it into a toxic boobytrap. Simple fact of the matter is.... We live in the information age. I have the right to know anything that is out there. If I was so inclined as to want to know how to make a nuclear bomb, it would be my right to know, as an american citizen, under the constitution. Get a life people. Contrary to your belief, just because you are a U.S. citizen doesn't mean you have the "right" to know anything and everything there is to know just because it's online. i don't know who told you that but i've been a firefighter/parameddic for 20 yrs and a fire/arson investigator for 10 years and have seen and investigated meth lab explosions.

1)I understand explosives; I am curious what chemicals are used and which reactions take place.

2)I keep reading the RUMORS about this stuff, but I haven't read any FACTS about it- so I don't know the difference between the facts and the fictions.

3)I would like to know what the stuff is and then ask a tweeker "Dude, do you realize what these chemicals are? What is passing for intelligence between your ears that you would inject such a foul mess into your bloodstream?"

ED RN.. as a paramedic for 17 years i'd strongly advise having any tweekers
involved in making meth explosions who present to your ED to be decontaminated
before treating them. they off-gas some nasty chemicals and you'll contaminate your ED'
if not careful.

Thanks for the concern. We have great paramedics, and fire crews who are diligent in warning us of potential contamination risks, and take care of the decontam for us prior to ever getting close to the ER. We are however aware of the risks especially with walk-ins.

I'm a training officer in a rural area and today I received a e-mail with the chemical Methamidosophos a pesticide and in one of the pictures theres a small waterbottle next to the container. So I'm looking for information on alternative uses for it other than a pestcide or is it part of the shake and bake proccess. goggle could only provide basic info so I typed in shake a bake. I am a firefighter that just completed a short course on reconizing meth labs. I was searching for more info on the dangers of entering a building or areas that could possibly pose a danger to myself or fellow firefighters. I still have questions about the contamination of turn-out gear worn by firefighters.Should I de-con, clean or replace the gear?
Any info would be helpful.

i'd contact the gear manufacturer. decon is done at the scene and cleaning is done later.
never, ever wash you bunker gear in your washing machine @ home. always use a special bunker gear washing machine. replacing the gear is really, really expensive @ over 1,000 a set.

The objective truth is that these "danger peddlers" use scare tactics and lies to convince you not to make or use the drug. Why lie? You don't need to. Anybody that allows a chemical substance to control of their lives is an idiot.

if you are stupid enough to hand over control of your life to chemicals then try to be at least somewhat careful. The truth is that an explosion is very unlikely if you allow vapors to escape with a lot of ventilation. Open the windows, put a fan in one and let the vapors escape out the other.

Any on the toxic fumes, let's face it, if you are breathing meth smoke and cigarette smoke then breathing most of the stuff from meth making isn't much worse. Keep fresh air blowing through all the time and you'll probably be fine.
