The message really holds true and it's a message that I believe has to be said over and over in your mind and in your heart if you want to be rid of this addiction.
With a powerful 20 year long story of addiction I can imagine that you have a powerful story to tell along these lines.

Re: Free Wallpaper: My life means more than Meth

I spent over 20yrs with that monkey on my back.

KUDOS to you ......it's a powerful beautiful message

Re: Free Wallpaper: My life means more than Meth

Hi artsy, Thanks for your feedback. I always welcome feedback whether positive or negative. I get what you are saying though and as I mentioned above, there are things I would change about it now. But that's OK - I will just make different types with different messages down the road. I'm glad art is subjective -- we can each take a different message from the same piece. Thanks again
for stopping by!

Re: Free Wallpaper: My life means more than Meth

Hello, It's a well-designed wallpaper, but I really feel it's quite negative. My eyes are immediately drawn to the word METH rather than 'life'

Ostensibly the smoke is meth smoke? How would looking at meth smoke inspire one to not smoke meth except in a negative way?

I'd say we can give two forms of advice:

a) stop smoking meth
b) choose life

choosing life is a positive choice.

Looking at your site, the nice colours and design are far more inspirational than a black screen with the word METH so prominently displayed.

If I were designing a poster I'd focus more on the LIFE than the meth aspect.

Of course I don't know very much about meth addiction, so maybe these tactics work better, but to be honest I'd say positivity is far more powerful than negativity.

Re: Free Wallpaper: My life means more than Meth

Thank you Hanna!

Of course now that I look at it I can think of 15 ways I would change it -- I'm my own worst critic!

Re: Free Wallpaper: My life means more than Meth

Great job!
