i just now found this page and have been confused about the differences in meth, crystal meth, ice, etc. i can remember doing meth for a little while prob between 15 and 20 years ago. i didn't do any for years, then a few months ago someone introduced me to "ice" or crystal meth im assuming. i have smoke it a few times since then. i have researched online the differences but i still don't really understand if or what is the difference. the main reason im curious is because the stuff that i was doing years ago and the stuff i've recently came in contact with is totally different. it looks different, it is a whole different feeling. can you shed some light

"racemic" just means it's a mix of left and right handed isomers of the compound. like Adderall is dextro and levoamphetamine mixed salts. That's racemic. "Crystal" is just methampetamine hydrochloride. I think the "ice" you are taking about is high dextro- isomer concentration methamphetamine hcl, which I don't know why the Phillipines would be the only place to make it. If we want to be no-true-scotsman about it, maybe "you never find ice in mexico"-- but there's a lot of methamphetamine hcl that people call glass, ice, etc. walking around the southwest from mexican sources. Also, it's schedule II, there is pharmaceutical grade purity dextro-methamphetamine hcl available by prescription in the US.

Interesting fact abt ice in Hawaii, thanks :) In the Philippines, it is sometimes called "bato" which means "rock" in Tagalog. Similar words. But casual/new/non-users call it bato or shabu -- the people on it call it "sh*t". I'm not really sure why.

Honey ice is not "a purer form" of meth. Do your research if your going to write about it get it right. That causes you to loose credibility in anything else thaT YOU POST.
Ice or "batu" as the Hawiians call it is made in the Phillipines.Its is a different drug than meth, or crystal meth. Meth is basically crank. add one step to the process (extracting methamph through use of a non-polar solvent) it becomes a more purified version of meth called crystal meth. Ice is "racemic methamphetamine". It reacts with the body differently, and is processed differently. You will never find ice in mexico and you'll never find it on the mainland unless you run into a Hawiian who just got here with some of his stash and chances are "he aint sharin"

ive done it for around 30 years and not once have i seen nor used any of this so callled ice. i think its a bunch of horse sheet. i think them damn hawiians just need to get some sleep. but beside it all the puda was the best funk this crystal sheeit its not evan real its all fake anyways. there was nothin like the rosebud of old. that was an actual stimulant nowadays the stuff is like crack just gets you stuck.

what do you mean in its purest form? let me just say i once knew this guy and he made crystal meth (red,black,white). how is ice made purer? im not asking for the recipe that would be stupid but just asking how does one make it purer? is it a whole different process????
